プリズム プリント インターナショナル エキシビション　

イギリス発祥の国際版画グループ"Printworks"による国際交流版画展「PRISM」のロンドン、埼玉、ミラノ、東京に続く第5回展。様々な国で制作された版画という媒体を通して品質と技術、伝統と革新、国際的文化の違い等にアプローチする事を目的とした展覧会を目指しています。今回は参加国も増えて、中国、イタリア、日本、オランダ、ポーランド、イギリスの６カ国から新たな作家も含め３２人もの版画家が参加するこれまでで最大の展示となります。

The Prism print project aims to be a forum for cross-cultural exchange via printmaking of quality and range of technical approach, both innovative and traditional. Prism avoids taking a critical curatorial position beyond seeking to place differing works alongside each other and to elucidate both commonality and individuality. We explore diversity and refuse to impose an outdated universalist style or taste. On the contrary, we seek to reveal localist difference even within the intra-national cultural ethos.
